Slight to serious problem...
Ok, after the new update, I haven't been able to play Guild Wars. It was yesterday night that the problem occured. When I open the client up, the connecting screen freezes my entire computer. The mouse moves, people still can talk to me on AIM, but I can't type them back, the clock works, but everything else is pretty much frozen. Only way to restart computer is to unplug or press the on/off button. Can anyone lead me to any sollutions? Many thanks if you do.
P.S. Whoever helps me, gets a free dozen of fresh baked muffins.

Ok...only because I like muffins.
First, cheak out this thread:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s....php?t=3018793
Is that the problem your having?
Also, my computer isn't working like it normally should. I can't go on msn for some reason atm, I can't open Steam and I can't get on GW. The only entertainment source I have is the fact that I have to take a math test in 20 minutes, my music and guru.
Also, my client for comeing online isn't working normally as it should, my whole computer seems to be wrecked.
And...anyone who can figure out whats going on gets a dozen freshed baked cookies.

Smells like ISP problem, name servers prolly acting up thus making internet work bit wierd.
You could try rebooting (might risk losing the places you can go to now ) or just try doing Start -> Run... -> ipconfig /flushdns, that resolved my internet problems some time ago when my ISP was going nuts.

Nope, not problems like his. I can't even see the Guild Wars client after I started it, except for the top blue part that says Guild Wars-Connecting, or whatever it says. As for the ISP thing, I will try and see if that works. I went network bridging on Halo 2 online yesterday so that might have messed stuff up.
*Edit* I see your directed the ISP post towards the other dude, still I will try to see if my ISP is the problem.

Right after I type in ipconfig in Run, a black window appers and it's gone. I do the same thing over again and it won't stay put. Then I typed in ipconfig /flushdns...well nothing seems to have changed.
Btw, rebooting doesn't seem to be making much of a difference.
